This Privacy Policy describes how the kubezilladesktop.com website ("the Site") processes personal data. It applies only to the Site. The Kubezilla Desktop application has its own privacy notice bundled with the app.

Who we are​

The controller of personal data processed through the Site is the operator of kubezilladesktop.com. You can reach us at the contact address listed at the bottom of this page.

What we collect​

  • Request logs. IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested path and referring page. Used to operate the site, investigate errors and abuse, and produce aggregate visitor statistics (country and city are derived from the IP address). Kept only as long as needed for these purposes.
  • Consent choice. Your cookie-banner selection is stored in your browser's localStorage under cookie-consent-v3. Never sent to our servers.
  • If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email so we can reply (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request.
  • Google Analytics. When you opt in via the cookie banner, we load gtag.js from Google and it sets _ga, _ga_*, _gid, _gat cookies. IP anonymization is enabled. Purpose: measure aggregate site usage (page views, country, referrer, browser). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
    • Data processor: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Advertising pixels. If you opt in via the cookie banner, we load advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Microsoft (Bing Ads) and X to measure the effectiveness of our ads on those platforms. These providers receive data about your visit and process it under their own privacy policies; data may be transferred outside the EEA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

What we do not do​

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We use advertising pixels only if you opt in to the Marketing category (off by default).
  • We do not profile you for automated decision-making.

  • access a copy of your personal data,
  • correct inaccurate data,
  • erase your data ("right to be forgotten"),
  • restrict or object to processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, use "Cookie settings"),
  • lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
